The Marlow's Roost property has approximately 1.6 acres of land area.  The property is almost 100% landscaped and has 5 separate lawns which mean a lot of lawn mowing during the spring & summer.  The property also has more than 60 trees which include several very large Oak trees that seem to lose their leaves through out the year and of course especially during the fall.

We have a nice KOI fish pond in the garden that is the home of about 30 fish of various size.  The largest KOI is about 14" long.

The home is about 2700 sq. ft and is very comfortable.  We have a direct view of the airport runway from our den in the back of the home and can even see the departing and landing aircraft from our bed in the master bedroom.

The home is on a secluded private street but is only about 3.5 miles to a shopping center and about 6 miles from both Nevada City or Grass Valley.

Nevada City and Grass Valley are small old cities that were very prominent during the gold rush in California. In fact more gold was taken from this area than any other area in California.  There are many things for a tourist to visit in this area.  Lake Tahoe is about 1.5 hours away by car and San Francisco is about 3 hours away.
