Marlow Swift Restoration 3

Finally, the Swift was flying and moved to the Minden Nevada airport where cosmetic work was done after the flying sessions each morning.  Of course the engine needed to be properly broken in and the new Swift pilot needed to get familiar with the Swift.  The cowling was still in the original condition and would be painted later after the Swift was moved to Nevada City.

Finally the Swift is home in the hanger at the Nevada County AirPark.  The cowling has been removed and work is progressing on the cowling painting.

The cowling is now painted and installed and the Swift again is almost ready to fly

The finished product ready to fly just before the takeoff accident that damaged the Swift and humbled the pilot.
